Dr. Vance Wood is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Georgia. A North Georgia native, he received his Bachelors Degree from North Georgia College in Dahlonega and his Masters and Doctoral (PsyD.) Degrees from Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University/Atlanta.

His graduate training included practica at Georgia Tech Counseling Center, the Hall County school system, and the community Mental Health Center in Cartersville, Georgia.

In addition, he completed an internship at the counseling center of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and a post-doctoral fellowship at a private practice in Dahlonega, Georgia for licensure as a psychologist in the state of Georgia.

Dr. Wood is a member of the National Alliance of Professional Psychology Providers (NAPPP) and the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce.
